Wembly give Saints a whack in Warnbro!

Short on numbers yet again (14 this week) we thought we had started the game with an even 15 a side after Wembly gave us one of their own.

It seemed as though they snuck an extra couple on to the ground shortly after the first bounce though as 2 loose players across our half forward continually won the ball for the opposition.

Wembly were clinical in front of goal and made good use of their opportunities. While Saints won plenty of the ball in the midfield we broke down across half forward and remained goal less until the final term.

Wembly went on to add 15 unanswered goals before we finally broke through in the closing minutes of the game. Another goal came from 2 50 metre penalties in the last minute.

All up it was a good clean game, just not a particulalry good game to watch from our point of view.
