Games are played fortnightly and all clubs now meet at two designated host club’s grounds for that round creating an enjoyable, family friendly carnival type atmosphere.

Scores are not published nor premiership points awarded and the ethos of the league 'Footy For Kicks' simply means it's all about having some fun.

All games are umpired with modified rules in place to suit the different age groups and protect the players as best they can.

The AFL Masters League itself is ever developing further in 2012 and will see the admittance of  even more new metro & country clubs.

With the inclusion of new teams, the league decided that each playing fixture would be spread between two carnivals.

This means that games will commence later in the morning & also finish earlier with the latest games being played at 2pm at the majority of the carnivals.
